Call for entries:

Don't Call Us, We'll Call You...

Deadline:   19th June 2009 (Entries postmarked with this date will be accepted).


What:    Participate in Don't Call Us, We'll Call You by submitting a letter of rejection.  
  

Letters that might hold great importance/little importance to the unsuccessful applicant.

Letters with imaginative use of language/unimaginative use of language.

Letters that tell us that there was an overwhelming response.   

Letters that regret to inform.

Letters that invite us to join them.

Letters that tell us that the quality this year was particularly high.

Letters that thank us for our interest and encourage us to apply next year.



Who:   UK and International artists. 

Where:  Islington Arts Factory, London, UK.

When:    August 2009.


Entry Fee:  
Please include a cheque (sterling) payment for seven pounds, made payable to 'Subjective Rejection'.


The letter of rejection should take the form of an A4 sized photocopy (black and white or colour) of the original, on white paper, with the main part of the letter, the institution/gallery address etc, the date, and the name of the applicant in view and of a readable print quality.  
Applicants are welcome to obscure private addresses and/or contact details if they wish.

NB: Only those derived from unsuccessful applications to UK based exhibitions and art-focused events will be successful.  
Post artist letters of rejection, entry fee, and a brief C.V. including email as well as postal address to:
